Apr 2011 at 20:29 Have you taken your car for an MOT since removing the cats?? What did you replace the cats with?? My understanding is that a car that was made with cats...must have cats or it will fail the MOT??

Apr 2011 at 20:47 I think its car made after a certain year (1994 ?) have a certain limit on emmissions, and that is achieved by fitting cats. The Senny had cats, but afaik there was nothing to stop you removing them. An Omega would be a different story though.

K reg onwards ie 1992 and as they made a Senator up to M reg it means that late Senators needed their cats fitted at least once a year for MOT. Wink
