What's it worth?

Somebody is interested in buying my tow bar. I have absolutely no idea what it is worth secondhand.

Can anyone give me an idea on what they think it should fetch?

I don't wish to undercharge or overcharge. I'm just happy that it goes to a good home. Thumbs Up!

I would have thought that if you check new price at today's prices and pitch it at around60% of that, does that sound about right?

When deciding on a price be aware of postage/courier costs if the buyer is not able to collect in person...

I'll second that. I've bought a facelift bar for £65 from a breakers and recently a pre facelift estate bar for the same.

So the £60 - £70 mark is a good guide as long as it's got all the bolts/electrics etc, IMHO.

HTH  Thumbs Up!

I struggled to raise thirty five squids for the last one I sold for an estate...

Must admit I would have said around £30, £60 seems high and remember it has to be delivered and fitted...all at extra cost Smiley
