Over the last few weeks I have been noticing a strange noise under acceleration...  Today driving I noticed it higher up the speed range...

With the windows shut, it sounded very much like it was coming from the gearbox...  Nice warm day and running with the windows down earlier, I thankfully realised it was the exhaust and roughly where it would be too...  Closer examination I found that the bend just before the join of the mid section has blown through...

So...  I can't afford the new bit at the moment, so I need to get a little creative with the exhaust bandage, to patch up the corner... 

Slit an empty Baked Beanz tin, dolly/beat-out to a form-fitted splint; secured with jubilee clips!

.....`will last a while, at least until finances permit a proper-fix.
