You should get a renewal letter when it's due unless you've moved house?

did you not even save the docs on your computer  Shocked

No way I can think of, except maybe a friendly chat with the police, they should have access to the info.

You can check if you are insured here:

http://www.askmid.com/

Maybe you could write to the MID?

I beleive it can be upto a fortnight out of date.  Cry

the DVLA may sell you the info for £2 or £3.  sure they can do that sort of thing.

I'd pop in the police station, with all your docs, and explain and ask if they can find out you, your trying to avoid breaking the law after all.

You will need to provide the insurance information if you are unfortunate enough to have an accident, so it'd be worth getting to the bottom of it.

I can't believe a company would not even send a paper certificate. Not much to ask for a sheet of paper, an envelope and a stamp considering how much insurance costs. Angry

You print your own off if you insure via Swift Cover, they don't send out paper certificates.  Huh
