It's obvious if you look under the seat. In the middle of the motor is a square hole that the square end of the crank fits. If the motor dies, the theory is that you can wind your seat forwards/backwards in an emergency. In practice you could have walked to where you're going by the time you've moved the seat with the handle. Grin

Apr 2011 at 09:32 I've got two of those but the home made one made from an old junior hacksaw is way better, you can fix it in a drill which moves the seat quite quickly
