I know I can only talk for 3 cars (2 Senators & this Omega) but in 200 000 miles my handbrake has been used once a year by Mr MOT Man and maybe a few tyre fitters, and I've never had any problems with my handbrake. I've never even seen a set of handbrake shoes.  Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!
