Cam Belt Change Advice?? (Read 790 times)

Apr 2011 at 23:05 I have a 2.2dti 16v (DIESEL) It has now covered 55,700 miles and is on an 03 Plate When should the cam belt be changed Mileage or Year?? The car has a full VX service history and they have never metioned anything about it yet? Cheers Simon

AFAIK ALL Vauxhalls with a cam belt should have it changed every 40 000 miles or 4 yrs which ever comes first.
So on a time basis yours should've been done years & years ago! Shocked

So is there a time period involved with the timing chain at all??
