Its likely it will be, but may choose to unlock on lift off, then relock when power reapplied?

Guess the test is can it be repeated on a manual 3.2...

I think (and this is all from watching the tacho, not watching what it's doing on a Tech2) that it unlocks as soon as you lift off, and only locks up again if it realises you aren't decelerating (i.e. going downhill). But it's unlikely to be locked-up in the first place if you've got your foot to the floor - I though it only locked up under cruise & gentle acceleration.
