Sorry delay LD...been Omega spotting in Dorset Grin Grin
As regards times....I shall be on site from about 10am, so anyone can roll up whenever. Officially the place was shut, but some plonker has now taken a booking for a kids party in the main hall from 2 til 6. This should not affect us as they have been told that the car park is being used by us, unless there are any spaces at the bottom end. The bar will not be open to members, only us....so if it rains, there is inside seating in the bars, with, as I said before, dartboards, and Pool table...oh, and a 55" Television (not Sky) and of course booze and soft drinks. There is a small covered area which can be used for the BBQ should it be wet (gas BBQ) bring and cook your own. We will get rolls on the day and do some salad if required. Swmbo is going to do some rolls, Cheese and Tom, Tuna etc if interested. Tea and Coffee will be available. I assume the local takeaways will be open if someone wants to do that, and we have plates and cutlery available. So its a case of when everyone has gone, then I will lock up and bugger off Grin Grin Grin Grin

Hi all - I intend coming along too.

I mentioned at our last Oxford meet that I'd maybe give a bit of a 'detailing' demo if the venue and weather were up to it. It sounds like this might be a great venue to do this if the weather holds out for us. I'm by no means a qualified/practicing car valeter/professional detailer in any way shape or form - so if someone that's going is - maybe they could give me some tips too... Grin
It's purely intended to cover off a few techniques I use, and a few tips about products that you may have heard about - but always wondered what on earth they were talking about. A bit of terminology uncovered etc.
I'll bring some of my own stuff - and if we can get access to a bit of water for a couple of buckets - I could walk through a simple process etc.
Purely amateur guidance - if you've ever visited Detailing World website - there's a month of Sundays worth of tips and advice on there.... I use a minute fraction of it that works for me with the time I have.
Whether you throw the bathwater over the car and dry it off with the nearest rag in the corner of the garage  Cry Cry Cry - or are still striving for the mirror finish shine the glossy adds would have you believe possible only with their product  Cool - hopefully I can give you at least 1 tip on how to get a step nearer to a better result... Thumbs Up! (unless your already there and just want to keep it that way).

..btw - I'm not spending all day cleaning everyone else's car OK  Cheesy...

If everyone's up for it - I'd aim to be there from about midday.

Cheers
Ian.
