2.5v6 engine

My Elite 2.5V6 seized (according to the RAC) last year and I refuse to give up on her! Can anyone tell me where I can get a replacement? I am really very wary now having almost got sucked in by Bray Engineering. Embarrassed

Is it actually seized, or has something like the cambelt failed?  If latter, you may get away with replacement heads.

Could try PM'ing the likes of Darth Loo-knee or Elite Pete who are often breaking Omegas - they may have replacement engines/heads/wahtever.  Albs is also breaking a car, but can't remember what engine size it is.

Its a 3.2, and I think someone wants the heads. Also not sure if they would fit a 2.5?  Undecided

Was driving along M58 motorway and oil light came on. Got off at next junction and everything went dead. To be honest I wouldn't know how to check if it has seized - I am only taking the RAC chap's word for it.

As for Bray I searched for a recon and they phoned me on several occasions and even told me that once the engine was fitted I could legitimately have the clocks wound back to zero!  Cheesy

Worth a quick check but I would say that the chain of events does point to a knackered engine Sad Sad
