Generally not much to gain with minor fettling on the exhaust side unless you're going the whole hog with a tuned system, IMHO.
Intake side only has atmospheric pressure to push the air into the cylinder, but on the exhaust stroke it has a rocket up its' jacksie due to the expansion of the mixture so flow is seldom a restriction in comparison (hence exhaust valves are smaller than intake).
They are better than the cast manifolds though.
