brake pad warning

brakes were checked out after a brake pad warning appearred and deemed to be ok, yet warning is still on. complete new, discs, pads, shoes rear 4 mths ago. front pads have been on 18 mths but are hardly worn, could it be a sensor,? Undecided

Could be - try unplugging one at a time and shorting out pins in socket to check sensors.

afterthought , i replaced the rear springs not so long ago & i wonder if i over stretched a wire.  Undecided .

No pad sensors on the rear, just two on the front of yours Ray.

more than likely a duff or broken sensor  Thumbs Up!
do as suggested and unplug each sensor in turn and short out the pins you will then know whether it is just one sensor or both  Thumbs Up!

you get a pretty good idea if it's goosed just by looking at it.  Wink
