hi my 2.5 petrol has just started to surge under load more so when warm Angry coil pack changed some 18 months ago and ht leads (coil vaux leads not) any idears?

i would start by cleaning out your breathers, mine was surging and this cleared it  Thumbs Up!

dont forget to oil the inside of it (lightly) after you have cleaned it out

the car accelerates then seems to be held back as if being hit by a stong gust of wind, if you can understand that Shocked

I understand that, i seem to get that at about 3-4k revs.  Almost like i ant to accelerate but im gonna hesitate for a second or too.  What would solve this??

Possible? Would an exhaust leak cause it or even contribute to it?

That does sound like an icv/air leak issue.  Exhast leak would increase consumption/noise/smell
