a- Why has it snapped?
b - Is it a common thing?
c - Do I need axle stands to do the job?
d - Do I need to take the engine out?
e - Do I need new oil when doing this job?
What oil do you recommend?
f - Do I need to have my bottom end r-skimmed due to cambelt failure?
g - Whats the best cambelt to get and how much are they?

a because you were to tight to replace it
b yes with tightarses
c couple of bricks will do
d if you want
e re use the old oil
f only if you crapped your pants
g a pair of old tights will do

Bill Oddie ?
If this is a joke post..OK, but look at my post 1st May "24 bent valves" that will soon wipe the smile off anyone's face. It can be done on the driveway but not the best place for top end strip/re-build.

Good luck
