TD fuel consumption
10. May 2011 at 13:13

I've been running my TD chipped for the last few years, and recently went back to the entry level chip to protect the AR25 box until I get round to fitting the AR35 sitting in my garage.

I am concerned that my consumption, empirical and computer readout, shows that I am only getting around 24.5 mpg running around on short journeys, and 32 on a run. Before the car was originally chipped in 2007, I was getting about 26/35.

The car has been extremely well serviced in accordance with OOF recommendations. Milage is 105K.

Any suggestions as to how I might restore its mpg, other than re-chipping? Huh

You can take a boy out of The Valleys - but you can't take The Valleys out of a boyo!
