10. May 2011 at 17:50

Hi all

3 times today I have had a starting problem with the car managed to get it home and did the pedal trick, getting code 0335 which I think is crankshaft sensor. Am I right?
Could'nt have happened at a worse time as I have to take the daughter and kids to the airport Thursday not much of a prob in UK but here in jolly old France major crisis. Angry Angry

Yes, cranksensor. It will possibly let you down at the most inopportune time, and can cause the car to break down.

Mine failed, funnily enough, in France, and car came back home a couple of weeks later on a low loader.

That seems a bit extreme for a simple crank sensor failure!!

Couldn't be repaired in time, so I had to come home in hire cars.  In this case, the breakdown company simply repatriats the car.
