Yes indeed, I turned over as a result of the post and was quite surprised at some of the images of bodies being removed from an accident......

I didn't realise the Police remove personal effects such as Jewlary as part of the job. Be it covered on blood or whatever. Yet they said they could deal with all that. It's the emotional side from the bereaved that gets to them.
Must admit I thought it was going to be one of those road wars style programmes, and the traffic officers seemed especially OTT in this episode...  To start with anyway.

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

Having been called out by Hampshire Police to many fatal accidents I can understand why they can deal with the collection of things... There is nobody around to offend Wink

I might add that we frequently had to help collect up personal belongings if it was particularly messy and also had to deal with bereaved family when it came to the vehicle... That was, for me anyway, far harder. Especially when they want to come and view the vehicle Sad I would normally try to talk them out of it and let the insurance company deal with it... Even if I had to search the vehicle again for them, although the police vehicle inspector would normally have a thorough check with us too Thumbs Up!

I have in the past found Lady coppers, and ESP those on traffic, to be completely devoid of any discretion whatsoever. So I would tend to disagree personally....  Undecided
