I am in SHOCK, I went into my local Vauxhall dealer and got quoted £32.50 for the Rocker Gasket and the O rings but they refused to quote me for the black gasket sealant as they said I don't need it so I will have to go elsewhere for that. Huh

But because of how much it is I can't afford it at this moment in time. However my new MINT condition complete bootlid has arrived.

Aug 2011 at 16:13 Nobody ever needs to buy a Vauxhall car in the first place - there are alternative car manufacturers. But that doesn't seem to stop them selling you one. Anyway, the sealant is part number 90485251, £3.25 + VAT from Andyc when I bought some last October. Fump yer fist on the counter and demand a tube.

My Omega is only a 2.2 so just 1 gasket for mine but am annoyed at Vauxhall. I think I may phone another Vauxhall dealer or hasstle Andyc if he doesn't mind lol.

Oh, yes.

AndyC would be a better bet by the sounds of it. He knows the Omega inside out and bits from him come very quickly in the post. Not worth the hassle of going to the local main dealer, I find.
