Told him poss the crank sensor. He cleaned and "cooled" the sensor and got it started. Need to limp home & find a new one. Is it advisable to goto the stealers and get a GM one?

Aug 2011 at 14:56 I know guys, but it started up first time and the wife was driving. Hate being a passenger, even worse in your own car! But when we went to leave Ikea, nothing, typical. Could have played up outside the house Back home now and she's not going anywhere now til I can get the sensor!

PM Andy C and ask nicely if will sell you one trade price and post it to you Thumbs Up!

Then useful reading when you have the replacement, as there is a way to route the cable, so that it doesn't get so hot. Link explains why they can fail Wink
