the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

Nightmare, just buy another Omega with one already fitted. They are cheap enough!

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

Standard push up roof is easy to fit. "Nibbler" for the metal roof and oscillating small blade circular saw for the roof re-bars

Your link is not working.... Sad

If I was going to retro fit a Webasto I would want the old vinyl one that folds back over almost the whole roof... Smiley Smiley

Something like this

Well, I was thinking in something cheaper like http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-OPEL-OMEGA-SUNROOF-GLASS-SUN-ROOF-ASSEMBLY-/3...
Although this type may require tack welding? Undecided

It's a lot of work for very little return IMO. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I have opened an Omega sunroof in the last 3 years Wink I tend to use the climate all the time anyway and open the window if I want some air from outside Thumbs Up!

If you do go down that route you'll need a new roof lining too Wink

I was delighted to find an Omega without a sunroof when I bought mine. Can't abide the things. A load of extra weight in the worst possible location (high up in the car).

If it doesn't leak, it'll develop a mind of its' own and start opening itself or, at the least, the paint will flake off the surround and it'll look tatty.

Don't bother - IMHO. Wink
