Cam Belt Change and Assistance
29. Aug 2011 at 11:37

Dear All, following on from previosuly described cooling problems, should it become necessary to change the water pump on the car i was thinking that it would be worthwhile changing the cambelt at the same time. I understand some members of the forum do assist with this kind of work. I am fine doing basic mechanics but wondered if anybodycould assist should this need doing and what sort of charge i would be looking at getting an "expert" involved. I live on the outskirts of Peterborough, Cambs. many thanks in anticipation of any advice.

You need the locking kit. Serek may be able to help, if not, I'm willing to advise at a convenient time although I can't do much of the work.
