Thanks for bumping the thread, Chris Wink Saved me going looking for it this morning..

Omega passed it's MOT so I just gave Andy a call to order TC front pads, OE rears, fuel filter, clips, air filter, pollen filter, oil filter and a thermostat..

'bout time it had a proper service by me - might even put the cambelt kit on I've got sitting here!  Cheesy

Aftremarket pads came about due to the fact that lease companies would not pay the high price for the OE pads.

GME then brought out the aftermarket version to help keep the lease car business, if your a lease company looking to buy hundreds of cars then this is something you need to look at.

This all happend well over twenty years ago before trade club was born.

As for the Disc Kit then the discs are the same as they have always been they are not a cheaper version but they all come with Aftermarket pads

Just thought I'd say a quick public thank you to Andy - ordered the bits on Friday and it all arrived on Tuesday, despite some stuff not being in stock if I recall the telephone conversation correctly Smiley

'course it arrived and I realised I'd forgotten to order spark plugs  Grin I best visit the local dealer for those - be silly to pay delivery on £20s worth of stuff.

Anyway - thanks Andy, great service! Smiley
