Yes, but dont forget that the woody (actually its plastic) trim
will need to have your plastic inserts added.Robert...if thats the case then if your friend's is already prepared then i might be better of having them..... don't fancy doin surgery!!! But I might buy Varche's one too and see if I can get the digital dials to work...that project interestd me.
No change to the woody/digital ones - but your existing one will need to be sacrificed to make it happen. Good luck & just be careful with the sharp tools!
Does look blooming good though dosn't it ?
Yes it looks great...Mini (Interior) Facelift hahaha...
Did you mean "
Plastic Inserts" as the buttons?
No. You will have to cut out the 4 circular controls with the heater controls on and glue them inside the circles for the new panel. Too small and you have a gap, too large and they wont fit.
Its not difficult but you will have to get it right 1st time - 4 times!
Suggest you get a spare old panel form a breaker and use that - keeping your real one for spare.
You will also have to make a small modification for the aircon switch. The ones with the digital display ALL have climate control - and the switch is different. Its easy to make the aircon switch fit - but cant recall whether I modified the switch itself or the panel. Its easy when you take it off and look.
