HELP!!! Front End Damage
27. Jul 2006 at 22:05

HELP!!

In a car park this afternoon, and some dickhead in a Golf decided to go the wrong way round a one way system, drive head into the Omega, then drove off, with my girlfriend attached to his door handle!

I have front end damage; its OSF, OSF Fog is smashed, the bumper, chrome strip, OSF Wing.

here is a picture

...

You cant really see in the picture but the wing is pushed in slightly and the mangled black thing behind the fog lamp unit looks like a Flitch end

What do you guys reckon?

I am not interested in breakign the car, or selling, just want her fixed.

IF the other guy pays then great, but he drove off, I got his VRM and the police got the CCTV from the car park, but hey.......

By the way, the car a VW Gold Silver VRM RO51 XFE is anyone knows it, please tell me, so I can inform the police.

Get a complete bumper form a scrappy plus maybe a wing etc and bolt them on....not difficult on these.

Then wait till the Police get hold of the swine and burn his ass.......fleeing the scene of an accident....very naughty.

He just reversed off, and drove away, My Girlfriend grabbed his door handle, and he drove off with her attached, dragging her off, she okay, she let go, but it still basically attempted murder!

Cant forgive him for this! not only he wounded my baby, but he tried to kill my girlfriend!

Whats the metal thing for behind the flog lamp, thats all twisted...?

In all fairness, leave it to the cops, make a complaint that he did ABH against GF. End of day - traffic accident is minor, string the blank up for risking your GF

I feel for you mate.
Make sure the polis know about driving off with your gf attached.
Only more I can add to your description (from the limited search I have available to me), is that is officially VOLKSWAGEN, GOLF GTI (115),1984cc,3dr.
May help with the search or may not.
Good luck.

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

That justs Sucks.

Happened to a freind of mine a stolen Car hit him, I think he claimed for the damage but not from his own insurance something about a fund the goverment has for accidents where one driver has no insurance Ie stolen cars and the like.

I might Be wrong but check into it as its on CCTV and its not like you just crashed into a wall because you wer a bad driver

Traffic issue is minor, but leaving the scene of an accident and failing to stop at an accident. If he has points already, he could get banned. He may have a driving job, he could lose it and subsequently his house. I would call that a start in the Karma War!!

Hope all are well, dont worry about the car Cipher it fixes, quite easily.

You are of course going through insurance - via a vis tha damage to your girlfriend, the stress and the painful whiplash, neck and back pains....£££££

Id visit casualty to record these pains!

Ooooo that is a Good Point.

My Bro's Wife sued my Bother as he crashed with her in the car and they got £5000 for her cutting her head and the stress.

I got a wing in the same color, am, going back in few mins to collect a front bumper, again same color.

surprized i found not one same color, but four, all being broken in the same place!

Guess it just nuts and bolts now.

How does the sill cover come off?

Little clips underneath to hold the bottom on then it should sort of slide out, my CD2.0 used to shed sill covers, on a couple of occasions I lost it in floods and was very lucky to get it back the next day, front fittings were damaged on the cill.

Used self tapper into wheel arch liner eventually
