Forget the puny 3 pin socket.

Have a good rummage under the headlining around the coutesy light hole.

You'll find a six pin connector.  I think it's for the sunroof, if fitted.

...

Connect the RED mirror wire to the BLACK connector wire.
Connect the BLACK mirror wire to the BROWN connector wire.

To connect them, strip a little insulation from the connector wires and solder the mirror wires on, then insulate with tape.

This is the simplest connection.  You can connect up the reversing circuit to the mirror if you want, but I couldn't be bothered!

Thought a pic might help you out.  Here it is:

...

Notice the circle in the top right hand side of the mirror - this is the sensor that detects when a light from behind is shining on the mirror.  It is a very nice item to have and works very well.

It will also look green if you shine a torch into it.

How does the mirror work in with seats only I have a mirror and loom/connector for not only connecting to the seat but also at the ceiling just need to make the cable up and connect in.

Does the mirror move using the buttons on the side of the seat in some way or is it a case of manually setting the mirror then saving and if seat position changes and the mirror is moved press of a button it repositions itself.

Hope this makes sense.

Move mirror and door mirrors as normal, then save from the seat as you would save seat position Smiley
