alarm system problems

hi i recently bought a omega 2 litre gls. but i cant lock it as the alarm keeps going off, but only seems to happen in day light. which if i leave it all day can flaten the battery. its an s reg, but it seems to be coming from the horn the noise so im guessing i cant just disconnect the alarm? or can i? as at the moment i cant leave the car locked. which is a little annoying. any thoughts anyone?

Aug 2008 at 23:54 IIRC its fixed to the power steering reservoir. When there's work done to the car, it tends to get bent and not make contact with the bonnet. There could be a number of issues, but this is a common one and easy to start with.
