Hi guys heading home next week,for 1 week,dont trust the migs battery,so 4 the sake of upseting the neighbours Angry

would like to disconnect it. 2000 mv6,did read something some time ago that it must be done within 10 secs,but how Huh

can someone help me out.Or should i just hope the battery does'nt drop so low that it trips alarm or is it alarms.

If you disconnect the battery without following the procedure the powersounder will go off.

The procedure is able to check that you have the key for the car because it (the powersounder) is linked to the factory immobiliser & alarm. I'm guessing that your Cobra system doesn't have that luxury.
