so after my trip.......
29. May 2011 at 21:09

i did 5000km's in the past two weeks travelling to france and spain (lovely weather b.t.w) and the mig didn't miss a beat albeit it was a bit slow on the uptake but the mileage wasn'T bad avereaged 8.2l per 100 km's don't know what that is in m.pg? anyway as i said it didn't miss a beat but (there's always a but) the glovebox handle came apart in my wifes hand! basiically the round bits that hld the two lugs in snapped and out came the whole lock and puller!, would i be better off getting a whole new door with lock already installed or are these easy to get back in with just buying a new handle? also my window switch on the drivers door was very temperemental sometimes it would go up but not down and vice versa is this fixable or am i looking at a complete new switch? and lastly i just passed my mileage for a timing belt change, the drapere locking kits are they designed to go between the cams to hold them steady? i've never done one before on a twin cam so don't know! thanks for your help, i will be posting photos of the car on the trip tomorrow!

the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

the window switch playing about, just try clean the contacts as fiend has mentioned, if that doesnt work out then next option would be to locate a switch unit!  Thumbs Up!
