holes for pikey bar, or rust holes?

If pikey bar, probably a thin bolt with large washer, and plentt of sealent?

Depending on which towbar may have been fitted, you can expect up to 7 holes.

Two in the floor nearer the rear seat end. two in the floor nearer the back, and 3 right at the back in the upright bit.

If it was a towbar off a saloon.

Get some rubber blanking grommets from the local car shop. Check the size of the holes, and but the correct size. (Make sure you get the blanking ones with no hole in though Roll Eyes)
Most decent car shops will have them in a variety of sizes, reasonably cheap.
I removed a wing ariel from daughters car and fitted a roof one (due to wing mounted being too near engine) and got a blanking grommet for .60p to fit the hole. Job done... Thumbs Up!

I always knew I'd inherit an estate, but I never thought this would be it!

I had quite a few holes when I took the tow bar off the the MV6 and put it on the elite.

I used nuts and bolts with big washers then galoushed it all with undersealant - both sides. Unfortunately, some holes can't be accessed on both sides with the rear bumper still on. The ones more towards the rear seats can't be got to at all from the underside as the chassis is in the way, so before I put the bolt in there I just put my finger through the whole and did it the best I could.
